Boots partners with Millie Court, as the beauty retailer returns to the villa!​

Boots returned to Love Island as the official beauty partner for the second year in a row last night, and this series it has coupled up with last year’s winner Millie Court to bring us the inside scoop on all things beauty in the villa. 

Boots partnership with Love Island showcases its unparalleled beauty offering and with over 500 premium and affordable beauty brands available at Boots, including 68 NEW beauty brands launched in the last 24 months alone, the retailer has all your beauty needs covered.

Millie commented: “One of the villa staples was the Fenty Gloss Bomb in the colour Fenty Glow. Me and the girls would literally go through a bottle of this a week, I’m not joking we were obsessed with it, and I now use it literally every single day. 

"We were also obsessed with the HUDA eyeshadow palettes, because they were perfect for every look, and the Maybelline Lash Sensational was my favourite mascara”. 

This year’s sexy singletons will be supplied with all the beauty must-haves they need to turn heads for a sizzling hot summer. As Millie reveals: “Last year by the end of the series I’d run out of fragrance in the villa, but I hear Boots is supplying this year’s islanders with all the fragrance they need – so lucky them!”

Boots has stocked the villa with even more treats this year, covering 13 different categories including beauty, suncare, skincare and grooming, plus completely new for this year – it has added fragrance, dental, hair and nails, so there will be no fighting for the last spritz of perfume! Also new to the villa this year are go-to cosmetic brands 17 and MakeUp Revolution, as well as Sculpted by Aimee, Boots Glow Banana and Boots Ingredients Haircare. 

As the new Islanders hit our screens for the next eight weeks, Boots Beauty Specialist Leanna Zaman gives us the lowdown on the biggest beauty trend we can expect to see this series. “This summer’s go to trend is all about dewy, glazed donut-style skin and when it comes to skin it’s the base that counts. Glazed skin is all about the fresh, glassy finish and it’s really easy to create. There are loads of different ways to achieve the look, whether you go for a dewy moisturiser like the Boots Glow Moisturising Cream or a strong highlighter like the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter – both will help you achieve the same finish.”
