BBC Children in Need is a cause that has been close to the hearts of our customers and colleagues for almost two decades. Together, our partnership continues to make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
With more children than ever before struggling with their mental health, any donations raised by Boots UK for BBC Children in Need will continue to fund projects that champion mental wellbeing and build confidence and resilience through our A Million & Me impact programme, which aims to support children aged 8-13 with their emotional wellbeing.
With 2020 marking our 17th year in partnership with the life changing children’s charity, we’re celebrating some of our biggest milestones…
Ahead of BBC Children in Need’s Appeal Day on Friday 13 November 2020, we’re encouraging the nation to come together and make a difference.
This year, we know it’s a bit different but don’t worry, we’ve got the perfect solution for how you can still get involved and support this important charity, and it’s right there on your mobile phone.
Especially for BBC Children in Need, Boots UK has created a bespoke Pudsey filter to use on Facebook and Instagram (launching 26th October), so you can become your very own version of the famous Pudsey Bear.
All you have to do is make a donation of whatever you can via this link (minimum donation £1), download the filter and get snapping away. It’s that easy – just make sure you use #ShareTheBear!
BBC Children in Need’s vision is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential. The charity will realise this vision by supporting, promoting and publicising work that addresses the challenges that children and young people face and work that builds their skills and resilience.
