At some point in our lives we’ve all hoped for someone who will look beyond our nerves or lack of experience, see our potential, and offer us an opportunity to set our career into motion.
That’s why we partnered with The Prince’s Trust. Since 2019 we’ve been committed to transforming the lives of young of people across the UK by providing meaningful opportunities for them to develop the skills, confidence, and self-esteem to live happy and healthy lives, regardless of their background.
As we reflect on the success of our partnership over the last five years, we’ve:
- supported more than 600 young people into the world of work
- raised more than £3 million through the support of our team members and customers. As a Platinum Patron of the charity, these funds have directly contributed to creating real employment opportunities for young people
- delivered The Prince’s Trust’s ‘Get Into’ programmes by hosting two-week work experience opportunities across our stores, Customer Support Centre (CSC) or Stores Service Centre (SSC), with the potential for employment at the end.
So to celebrate our five-year partnership anniversary we asked team members who’ve been involved to take part in a WIRED-inspired ‘autocomplete’ interview to answer some of our burning questions.
