Meet the Boots colleagues testing NHS workers, delivering medicines and essential products to the nation

We've never been more proud to introduce some of the key workers from across the country, who are supporting the nation in its time of need, right ‘From the Frontline’.

Optician Amanda Merry is volunteering at Boots UK's NHS COVID-19 testing centre in Nottingham, putting herself on the frontline to ensure NHS staff can return to work safely.

Warehouse engineer Mick Peacock recognised the need to support during this challenging time. He voluntarily postponed his retirement after 50 years working with Boots, to ensure medicines and essential products can continue to be delivered up and down the country.

Pharmacist Angela Chalmers has been working around the clock, splitting her time between a Boots store and a local Doctor’s Surgery, to ensure her local community has the medicines they need to stay safe at home –  even hand-delivering prescriptions during her lunchtime and after work.

These are just some of our colleagues, and the real people across the UK, who are dedicating their time to working on the frontline; supporting key workers, helping families stay at home, and aiding those in need of essential prescriptions and medical care.
