MAC has become the latest brand to be added to the ever-growing portfolio of premium brands available at Boots. Raring to get their hands on favourite products by the brand, customers led the waitlist to achieve the largest number of sign ups in a day on a premium beauty brand waiting list on boots.com ever.

Since M·A·C’s inception in 1984, the brand has been a trailblazer in the beauty industry, with a mantra of ‘All Ages, All Races, All Genders’. With its extensive and diverse product lineup, unrivalled makeup artistry, inclusive community and brand mission, M·A·C aims to bring communities together.

With the second phase of Beauty Reinvention going in full speed, the launch follows a whole range of new brands like Huda Beauty and Givenchy being welcomed to Boots, as well as the introduction of innovative virtual beauty consultation service, which offers customers free premium beauty advice from the comfort of their own homes.

Joanna Rogers, Trading Director and VP of Beauty at Boots UK, says: “2020 has been another big year for beauty at Boots, and we’re so excited for M·A·C to join the Boots Beauty family. As one of the leading premium makeup brands, offering such a diverse range of colours, formulas and textures, we’re pleased to be making yet another iconic brand more accessible for beauty lovers across the UK.”

Terry Barber, Director of Makeup Artistry at M·A·C., says: “It’s a natural step for M·A·C to pair with an iconic British retailer such as Boots. Everybody shops at Boots! The idea that they now will carry some of the M·A·C legends, like Studio Fix, Strobe Cream or Fix+, is exciting. M·A·C is a people’s brand and through Boots, it’s now closer to the consumers who love it.”

2024 marks Boots’ 175th anniversary year. Founder John Boot opened a herbalist store in Nottingham in 1849 to offer an affordable alternative to traditional medicines.
