2018 marks Boots 15th year in partnership with BBC Children in Need, and building on the success of 2017, its exclusive Go bright campaign is officially back for another year.
Go bright 2018 will be inspiring the nation to use their love of beauty to go bolder and brighter than ever before to raise money for BBC Children in Need. And with this year’s Appeal day drawing closer and closer, colleagues from across Boots UK are busy making plans so that 2018 is another great fundraising year.
As part of this year’s Go bright campaign, Boots UK’s stores, customers and colleagues will be undergoing bright and colourful makeovers to help raise money for BBC Children in Need. Not only will the Boots UK team in Nottingham be celebrating the return of their annual ‘Go bright’ bonfire and fireworks event, with an evening of explosive celebrations, but stores will be teaming up with a selection of brands to bring customers some brilliant, bold and bright looks at their exclusive Pudsey pop-up make-up spots and branded No7 counters.
Throughout Boots UK’s 14 year partnership with BBC Children in Need, its committed colleagues have helped change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, by raising a fantastic £11.5 million. In 2017 alone, Boots UK raised £1.559m, every penny of which has gone to support BBC Children in Need funded projects that help young people better cope with the adversity they face, by helping to build their confidence and resilience. These projects help young people across the UK to reach their full potential, by encouraging them to believe in themselves and what they can achieve in life.
Together, Boots UK colleagues and customers can help improve the lives of children and young people, and together, 2018 can be another great fundraising year for its fantastic charity partnership with BBC Children in Need.
