Creating 22 new jobs in Martlesham, the brand new health and beauty destination store will be a brilliant addition for the community and customers visiting the retail park.
Boots UK today opened its brand new store in Beardmore Retail Park to meet the health and beauty needs of the local community, providing customers with a wide range of pharmacy services, new brands and health and beauty products.
Seb James, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director of Boots, supported the opening by cutting the ribbon to open the store at 10am, alongside new store manager Richard Barrett.
Richard said “We’re really excited to be opening our new store this week. We know that our customers in Martlesham are really looking forward to being able to shop from all of their favourite brands at Boots, and we can’t wait to welcome them into the beautiful new unit. We’re also thrilled to have 22 new Boots colleagues joining the team, who will be on hand to help our customers with all of their health and beauty needs.”
Boots celebrated the opening by giving out 200 beauty goodie bags to the first 200 customers to come into the new store. It’s also running a competition where customers have an exclusive opportunity to win a beauty hamper containing products worth £200.
The store, with a catchment area of over 67,000 residents, will offer confidential consultation rooms where patients can access a range of pharmacy services, including flu and travel vaccinations, alongside a complete range of healthcare products, including the exclusive Boots Pharmaceutical range.
Alongside the healthcare offering, customers will be able to find all of their favourite beauty brands, including No7 and CYO alongside Soap and Glory and luxury bathing from Champneys.
Customers can also access the entire Boots range including premium cosmetics brands, and brand new beauty launches PIXI, e.l.f. Cosmetics and wet n wild – through the next day Boots Order and Collect Service*.
