Creating nine new jobs, the brand new health and beauty destination store will be a brilliant addition for the community and customers

Boots UK today opened its brand new store located at Epping Forest Shopping Park. The additional store in the Loughton area will extend the availability of both pharmacy services and health and beauty products for customers in the local area.

Kevin Alavoine, Director of Stores, London & Airports Division, will support the opening, and long serving colleague Alan Mason, who has worked at the nearby town centre store for 11 years will cut the ribbon to officially open the store.

New Store Manager Jim Thomas said: “Boots has been in the Loughton community for the last 82 years and it is exciting to be able to make our products and services even more accessible with the opening of this new location.

“We’re also really thrilled to have nine new members of staff joining us with more expected to follow.”

Boots UK will be celebrating the opening with a competition for customers to win one of two hampers each containing beauty products worth £150. The first 200 customers to the store will also receive a beauty goody bag featuring No7 products.

The store, with a catchment area of over 182,000 residents, will offer private consultation rooms where patients can access a range of pharmacy services including travel and flu vaccinations, alongside over the counter medicines.

Across the store customers will also be able to find all of their favourite beauty brands and premium fragrances including Dior, Tom Ford and V&R. Busy families will be able to take advantage of the large children’s footprint in store, which will include a range of mini club clothes for 0-6 year olds that are exclusive to Boots.

Customers can also access the entire Boots range through the next day Boots Order and Collect Service*.
