Boots, the UK’s leading health and beauty retailer, will open a new concept ‘Boots Beauty’ store on 6th December at the iconic Battersea Power Station in London. The launch comes as Boots continues to transform its beauty offering, following the revamp of over 170 beauty halls across the UK over the last three years.

The 11,200 sq ft store showcases the best of beauty at Boots. It features 250 curated beauty brands across skin care, cosmetics, body care, hair care and fragrance, offering top-to-toe beauty solutions to suit all budgets. New brands R.E.M Beauty, Kerastase, Shu Uemura and Bubble will be available in-store, joining Boots beauty line-up for the first time, and will launch on boots.com, making the best of Boots beauty accessible nationwide.

Boots will also make use of its authority in healthcare to offer a unique blend of health and beauty expertise in the store. A Boots pharmacist with specialist training in skin care provided by leading dermatologist Dr Justine Hextall will offer free consultations for customers with skin concerns. In a private consultation space, the dermatologist-trained pharmacist will provide one-to-one clinical advice for a variety of conditions including acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. Boots also plans to offer a private pharmacist prescribing service at the store in the near future for customers who need access to prescription-only medicines to treat certain skin conditions. In a bid to make clinical skin care support more widely accessible on the high street, Boots will look to roll out specialist skin care training to more pharmacists in selected stores across the UK.

Additionally, the store will be home to a new team of 35 Boots Beauty Specialists, who join the existing 1,000-strong Beauty Crew already in stores across the UK. For the first time, Specialists can provide customers with free Skin Scan services using a NEXA skin imaging tool for in-depth analysis, advice and brand-neutral product recommendations. In a Boots-first, the store will also offer Dermalux LED Light Treatment services, which uses light waves to accelerate natural skin regeneration and repair – customers can book an appointment via boots.com at a cost of £60 per treatment. No7, the UK’s number one skin care brand*, will offer a range of services in the store, including its new Skin Solutions Service. The service supports customers to manage their skin concerns with a series of three free consultations over a twelve-week period using dermatologist-grade technology.
