Since first opening its doors in 1849, Boots has always been a business that is grounded in care. Now, over 170 years later, we are proud to say that nothing has changed. Boots has a unique place in the heart of communities across the UK, and we recognise the active and important role that we can play in helping to build healthier and happier lives – now more than ever.
We want to make a real and tangible impact in the communities where our team members and customers live and work, but we can’t do this alone. This is why we are passionate about working with our strategic, CSR partners to help improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
Our Charity Partners
Macmillan Cancer Support
For 12 years, Boots and Macmillan have been working together to improve the lives of people living with cancer.
With one in two people estimated to be affected by cancer in their lifetime, it is our aim to help everyone access the cancer information and support they need for them and their loved ones, at every stage of their journey, in a place that is familiar, reliable, trusted, and accessible on the high street.
The Prince's Trust
Boots UK and The Prince’s Trust are transforming the lives of young people by giving them their first break.
Together, we can empower the next generation to realise their full potential by providing meaningful opportunities that give them the skills, confidence and self-esteem to enjoy healthier and happier lives, regardless of their background.

The Hygiene Bank
Basic hygiene is the foundation of good health, which is why Boots has continued to champion greater access to affordable hygiene products for over 170 years. We now see this as our opportunity to tackle hygiene poverty, because we believe no one should have to compromise on their wellbeing. Through our pioneering partnership with The Hygiene Bank, we are able to provide access to essential hygiene and personal care products to support some of the most vulnerable people in our local communities.
