Our work with WE

At Boots UK, we have a unique place in the heart of the communities we serve and we are committed to making a real difference locally. We’ve been working with WE to pilot a new programme, WE Feel Good, which is currently being run at around 60 schools during the 2016/17 academic year in our hometown, Nottingham.

We Feel Good challenges young people to identify the local and global issues that spark their passion and then empowers them with the tools to take action.

The programme is working to build the confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills of young people, and students will be supported to plan at least one local and one global action to improve their community and the world and to become the next generation of healthier, happier, active citizens.

To celebrate the actions of these incredible change-makers, young people have the opportunity to attend WE’s signature youth empowerment event, WE Day, which WBA and Boots are excited to be a Presenting Sponsor of this year. WE Day is a powerful, life-changing event that combines the energy of a live concert with the inspiration of extraordinary stories of leadership and change. WE Day brings together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with tens of thousands of young people to celebrate their contributions and kick-start another year of change.
