Boots UK is a major national employer. The majority of our colleagues work in our stores and we also employ people in our distribution and logistics network, and our support office in Nottingham. At 31 March 2012, we employed nearly 62,000 people.

Our colleagues, and the care they give to our customers, are the reason for our success. We aim to attract, develop and retain the best talent. For example, in the UK we recruited around 1,000 pre-registration pharmacy graduates and fully qualified pharmacists during 2011/12.
